T-Rex Skulls

Everybody loves T-Rex, though the mix of tender admiration and outright fear can get a bit muddy at times. If you prefer your Tyrannosaurus dead, as opposed to roaming free during a tropical storm on a dinosaur island, you may care for these little T-Rex Skull pendants, cufflinks, earrings, and rings. They’re fancy and completely immune to the effects of chaos theory.

Anon-O-Lantern

I drift through zones of being pro and anti-pumpkin. There are times when the tiny little saws don’t break and I’m not clearing vast swatches of diamond hard pumpkin jizm off the kitchen table that I think to myself “You know, pumpkin carving isn’t all that bad.”

I’ve discovered, over the years, that pumpkin etching, painting, sculpting, and mechanizing are far more rewarding to wit: my Guy Fawkes Jack-O-Lantern. Observe ye mighty and despair.

Pillow Mace Aftermath

I’d like to thank everyone who took a shine to my Pillow Mace. The pillow fight was tremendous, fun, and a wee bit terrifying. Just after the cops inspected my mace and gave me the go-ahead to enter the baraccaded pillow fighting zone someone yelled “He’s got a Pillow Mace… Get him!” That pretty much sums up the fight for me. I spent most of it bent double under the weight of hammering pillows. After about ten minutes of punishment I was deeply in need of an exit

Epic Movie Beaver

Many of you may not know this, but I spent a few years working in the movie FX industry. Specifically, I made animatronic props and movie monsters for films like AVP:Requiem, Snakes on a Plane, and Epic Movie. Interestingly a mini documentary just came out profiling the studio “Mark Rappaport’s Creature FX” and my beaver prop from Epic Movie’s featured about halfway through! It’s kind of exciting as I never actually saw Epic Movie and never had much of a chance to see the finished prop in action. Video after the jump.
